Lori and Bill had a home they were proud of owning.  They knew their 5 bedroom home in the Barrett Greene Subdivision of Kennesaw, Georga was beautiful, they had great neighbors, and they really loved living in West Cobb. 

Unfortunately, even though they loved their home, it was just a little too much for them to maintain.  They also wanted to lower their monthly mortgage so that they could invest in a new business that Lori wanted to open.  

But they were really worried that (considering how nice their home was) it would sell really fast and then they would not have found a home that met their needs.  

Considering ALL the fears I hear from sellers this is the NUMBER ONE concern.

Fortunately, they called me to help them with this complicated situation.  We took a two-pronged approach.  We started by getting their home ready for the market AND we also started looking at homes for sale. 

First, we needed to make sure that Bill and Lori were “mentally” ready to downsize.   Quite honestly, they struggled with the loss of storage space and what do to with all their ‘STUFF’. 

I listened very intently to what they needed and then I went to work – hunting down a few houses that I felt would meet their needs.  After looking at about five homes we NAILED IT!  The perfect home. 

The next step was tricky.  They wanted to put an offer on the home but make it contingent on their home selling.  Considering they hadn’t even put their home on the market, this took some expert negotiating on my part.  

Thankfully, the agent who had their home listed was a friend of mine. She knew that my team has a very good track record of selling homes in record time.  She assured her sellers that we could make this work.  I was really glad that my reputation as a great agent helped make this deal work for Lori and Bill.

So, now we have the home they are buying under contract… Bill and Lori had already met with my professional stager (a complementary service we provide) and had their home professionally photographed.  We must have done a great job because we received a FULL PRICE OFFER in just 2 WEEKS.
