The home at 2214 Chaseford Lane Powder Springs, GA is a lovely home filled with light and attention to detail This home is filled with beautiful touches such as a stacked stone exterior, spacious master on main, and easy entertaining features. We wondered what it is like to live in such a wonderful home. Who better to tell us than the sellers, here is what they had to say:
The added curbside in the yard really accents the outline of the bushes and shrubs, and it brings additional appeal to the exterior of the home. We love having a sprinkler system that keeps the yard green through the warm months. The deck on the back of the home makes evenings more enjoyable by providing a place to relax in addition to the patio that extends from the back of the home.
We really love the stack-stone on the front of the home! It’s a lovely look and it has a lot of appeal. It also adds warmth to the entrance of the home as well.
When you first enter the home, there is a 2-story foyer that is filled with natural light and a beautiful chandelier. These elements are very captivating, and the wood floors throughout the first floor of the home are a wonderful feature to have. The formal dining room to the right of the entrance can seat large groups for entertaining; it also has a lot of natural light and gorgeous trey ceilings.
The kitchen features 42-inch raised panels on the cabinets, which are mirrored throughout the rest of the home in all of the bathrooms. The kitchen also has beautiful granite countertops, as well as a gas stove range with an overhead vent built in with the microwave. The gas fireplace on the main level is an additional touch that brightens up the room, as it features the same stack-stone used on the exterior of the home. It is also two-tiered, and the stone work extends to the ceiling. The great room is pre-wired for surround sound; the mantel can be included in the wiring or not, that is your choice when you install the speakers.
One of the best features of the home is that the master is located on the main level. It has a trey ceiling and a spacious walk-in closet! The master bath features tile flooring and a separate tub/shower as well a his/hers vanities. Over the jetted tub, there is a Tuscany glass window, which is an upgrade that we added to the home.
Upstairs, all secondary bedrooms are very spacious! Our favorite feature of the upper level is the large media room that is also pre-wired for surround sound. Once you settle in for a movie or a night of entertainment, you’ll never want to leave!
Walking in the evening or jogging is a great way to get exercise in this subdivision, whether it’s early in the morning or late at night. The neighbors are engaging and very helpful, and we’ve often hosted small gatherings on the back deck while enjoying evening drinks and great conversation.
Our subdivision, Woodland Chase, is located just minutes away from plenty of amenities, including a variety of grocery stores and restaurants. There is quick access to I-75, I-20, and Dallas Hwy 120. For a night out, downtown is located an easy 30 minutes away depending on traffic.
There are multiple gyms, movie theaters, bowling, and multiple other activities within just 12 miles of our home. Everything from entertainment to shopping is less than fifteen minutes away from our house. It is rare that we drive any longer than that! John McEachern High School is less than 2 miles away, which makes for an easy and quick drive.
