Why did you decide to join the real estate industry?
After 20 years of being a middle school language arts teacher, I felt like I needed a change in careers. My mother's house in New York needed to be sold, and as I negotiated the deal, my husband noticed a new spark in my eye. It was the passion that had been missing from teaching for a few years. He encouraged me to take the leap and leap I did. I have not looked back since.
What sets you apart as an agent?
As an agent, my primary concern is doing what is in the best interest of my client. I truly want to help my clients find the house that suits their family's needs the best. I can be very impartial, pointing out the positives and negatives in a home in order for them to make the most informed decision. I pride myself in working for my clients and not the commission.
What is your favorite thing about helping someone find their dream home?
Knowing that I have been an integral part in helping someone find their dream home excites me much as helping a child become successful in school did for twenty years. I have been witness to tears, prayers, and champagne celebrations for my clients who I have been able to help make their dream a reality.
How do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I have a reckless side that comes out. Whether it be dirt biking, four wheeling, or jet skiing to name a few, I love the feel of the wind in my hair and the breeze on my face. All of this is most enjoyable when I am with my husband, Charlie, and my three children, Cayleigh, Remi, and Ryleigh.
What is your favorite local activity?
Spending time on the tennis courts helps me to relieve stress and get a little exercise at the same time. I currently play tennis with the Camden Pointe ALTA team. Georgia is the perfect place to play year-round tennis.
