One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is getting to spend time with my friends and family experiencing all that Marietta has to offer!   I have compiled a list of all of the can't miss activities for this winter!

Christmas Lights

There is something so magical about Christmas lights.  My family loves to bundle up, pour a to-go mug of hot cocoa, and pile in the car to drive around a look at of the beautiful lights that surround us.  Our two favorite places in town are Lights of Life and The Maple Ave Lighted Globes.

Lights of Life is a drive-through display that features all of your favorite characters and gorgeous scenes that costs between $5-$15 per car.

The Maple Ave Lighted Globes are an absolute favorite!  The residents of Maple Ave create homemade globes out of Christmas lights and shoot them up into the trees.  The streets are lined with colorful lighted globes; it is  breathtaking.

Live Nativities

Looking for an educational outing?  Check out the full immersive Live Nativity at Mountain View United.  It is  free and hosted every Saturday in December.  You'll be able to sample dried fruits, cider, and homemade bread.  Not to mention a stunning Nativity scene.

Charitable Donations

Sometimes we can get wrapped up in getting gifts during the holidays. It is important to remember those less fortunate as well!  Help spread the joy and love of the holidays! Need some ideas of where and how to give your donation or time?  Check out these wonderful charities! Toy for Tots, Family to Family, Meals on Wheels, MUST Ministries .

This is the second annual ice skating rink in the Marietta Square. It is so magical to skate around with your friends and family while being surrounded by twinkling lights and festive music!  This is a family friendly event and is pretty easy on your purse strings as well!  It is only $12 to skate, including skate rentals!  Ice Skating is open until 9pm on Monday - Thursday, 11pm on Friday - Saturday, and 8pm on Sundays!

Santa Visits

Santa has taken time out of his busy schedule to visit us here in Marietta! He will be available for pictures on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm and on Sundays from 10am - 2pm. Good ol' Saint Nick wouldn't leave out the four-legged family members! Santa Paw will be visiting with dogs on Thursdays from 3 - 7pm!

Ye Old Christmas and Candy Shoppe

This is the place to get into the Christmas spirit! They have THE BEST fudge and truffles. Not to mention the blast from the past with all of their nostalgia candy. Browse the shelves for adorable Christmas décor and get ideas to decorate your own Christmas trees from some of their display trees!
