The home at 502 Huntgate Road Woodstock, GA is a beautiful home located in the sought after neighborhood of Wyngate. Located on a cul-de-sac with a large screened-in porch and a spacious back yard. Updates in this home include a new roof, new siding, as well as a recently painted exterior and interior. We wondered what it is like to live in such a wonderful home. Who better to tell us than the sellers, here is what they had to say:
The house is on locate a cul-de-sac which gives the backyard plenty of privacy from the neighbors next door. There are also lovely trees and large bushes toward the back that also provide privacy from the neighbors across the way. The picket fence is fully enclosed which is always nice for pets and children. The screened in porch is less than two years old. The porch has room for a grill and a place to sit and get some sunshine. Rain or shine, the yard is a wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or book. The yard is rather large and has a lot of potential to add other features if desired.
The roof is new, the siding is new, the house has recently been painted. The front of the house was beautiful before the upgrades, but a large window along with square footage was added above the garage. This window increases its beauty as both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Everything in the home has been updated since 2013.
FIRST FLOOR FEATURES
The front door has a lovely glass feature. The kitchen/breakfast area open into the spacious living room that features a beautiful stone surround fireplace. The gorgeous kitchen features updated stainless appliances, beautiful granite countertops, a surplus of cabinet storage space, and a great breakfast nook. The downstairs is light, bright, and spacious!
SECOND FLOOR FEATURES
The master bedroom is the perfect size, and it gets a lot of beautiful natural sunlight. The master closet is spacious. The bathroom feels like a spa experience with a tiled shower that features two heads. The separate tiled bath is large and luxurious. The master bathroom has a beautiful chandelier and painted ceiling which gives it a charming feeling. There is plenty of space with two separate vanities and lots of cabinet storage. The gorgeous granite is the same quality and from the same slab as the kitchen. The cabinets are the same throughout the house which adds a sense of togetherness. There has always been plenty of room in the other bedrooms. There is also added storage in the hall closet and bonus room. The bonus room is spacious and bright with lights in the closet. The room gets great light with windows on the side of the house and the front.
The neighborhood is great. We have two pools, two playgrounds, and plenty of beautiful sidewalks to walk on. I walked up and down Wyngate Parkway for exercise and it’s still one of my favorite memories of living here. The neighbors are nice, always helpful, and watchful. We all watch out for each other and our kids. The house is on a lovely cul-de-sac. Big Woods Drive also doesn’t have an outlet, so we get less traffic toward the back of the neighborhood. Halloween is great, it’s safe, an we have been very happy in this house. It takes two minutes to drive to school and the traffic has never been bad. Bells Ferry is accessible and you can miss the school line. Bascomb is the best school in the area, which is a plus.
Wyngate is not only beautiful, but there are plenty of stores and restaurants. You have the convenience of Rose Creek shopping but also Towne Lake Parkway and even Downtown Woodstock. There is an amazing sense of community here. Everyone knows each other from Pre-K to high school. We have all watched each other grow and age which feels nice considering how large the community actually is.
There are trails in Wyngate and there are creeks that have been fun to explore. The schools are the best in the area. There are plenty of gyms and things to do for fun. There are family friendly places to go and also a little bit of nightlife in Downtown Woodstock for the adults.
